DIMA
DIMA SMT Systems was founded in 1986 with the goal to design and produce a complete range of Surface Mount Technology tools and machines for the production of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). The focus has been directed to the production of small to mid size volumes and R&D environments. Ever since then DIMA has grown to be one of the leading international producers in its market.
The DIMA product-line covers the entire production process, from Printers and Dispensers, to Pick and Place and Soldering equipment. Through this DIMA provides the benefit to advise as well as to supply a complete process solution from a single source.
DIMA SMT Systems has defined eight core product areas:
- Stencil and Screen Printers
- Selective Coating/Dispensing systems (semi-automatic and automatic)
- Manual and automatic component placement systems (Pick & Place)
- Reflow soldering
- Board Handling
- Component taping
- Inspection
- Production optimisation software

    SP-500 Manual Screen Printing

DIMA offers a series designed manually operated printers designed for stencil or screen printing solder paste, glue and other products onto printed circuit boards and other substrates. The combination of the special pressure spreading mechanism with linear guidance greatly improves the accuracy of printing.
The printer can handle screen and stencil frames up to 23 inches but can be adjusted for smaller frames. Stencils allow smaller openings than screens and are therefore better suited for printing solder cream in SMT applications. The SP-500 is partly constructed from stainless steel to make cleaning easy. The rigid construction guarantees years of trouble free printing The highly accurate stencil printer SP-500 offers X-Y and Theta adjustments, making it suitable for fine pitch printing.
